Crafted from premium solid oak and selected real oak veneers, its soft grey-washed finish enhances the natural wood grain, delivering an organic, modern-neutral aesthetic to your home.
Why the Amsterdam 2-Drawer Console Table is an Interior Essential:
-
Solid Oak & Real Oak Veneers: Built for lasting daily use. The combination of structural solid oak framing and real oak veneers ensures structural stability while retaining authentic timber texture.

Shipping, Delivery & Returns
At Furniture Store NI, we want your furniture delivery to be straightforward and your order to arrive in the condition expected.
Delivery
Furniture may be delivered using:
- Furniture Store NI van delivery
- Approved delivery partners
- Palletised delivery, where appropriate for boxed or larger items
The delivery method will depend on the product, delivery location, size of the order and access to the property.
Delivery charges may vary depending on location, product size and delivery requirements.
Where possible, you will be contacted before delivery to arrange or confirm your delivery.
Preparing for Delivery
Before delivery, please make sure there is clear and safe access to the area where the furniture is to be placed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Doorways, hallways and stairways are wide enough for the furniture.
- Access routes are clear.
- Pictures, mirrors, lamps, light fittings and other breakable items are removed from the delivery route.
- Floors and access areas are reasonably protected where required.
- Any access restrictions are reported to us before delivery.
Please check the dimensions of your furniture carefully before ordering.
Furniture Store NI cannot accept responsibility where furniture cannot be delivered into the required room because of restricted access, provided the dimensions and product information supplied were accurate.
Difficult or Restricted Access
Please tell us before delivery if your property has:
- Narrow lanes or roads
- Restricted vehicle access
- Tight entrances
- Narrow staircases
- Low ceilings
- Difficult corners
- Apartments or upper-floor access
- Other unusual access restrictions
Additional delivery charges may apply where special arrangements or a second delivery are required because access information was not provided in advance.
Checking Your Furniture on Delivery
Please inspect your furniture as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If you notice visible damage, incorrect items or missing components, please inform the delivery team where possible and contact us as soon as possible.
Please email:
Include:
- Your name
- Order or invoice number
- Delivery address
- Details of the problem
- Clear photographs of the item
- Photographs of any damaged packaging where relevant
We ask customers to report visible delivery damage or missing components as soon as possible, preferably within 14 days of delivery.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Returns & Cancellations
Online & Distance Purchases
For most furniture purchased online or at a distance, consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods. Legislation.gov.uk
If your order contains several items delivered separately, the cancellation period may run from receipt of the final item. Legislation.gov.uk
To cancel an order, please contact Furniture Store NI clearly stating that you wish to cancel.
You can contact us at:
You may also use our returns form:
RETURNS FORM
The use of the form is helpful but does not remove your right to notify us of a cancellation by another clear statement. Legislation.gov.uk
Returning Unwanted Furniture
Furniture being returned following a change of mind should be kept in good condition and, wherever reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
Customers may inspect furniture in the same way they reasonably could in a shop. However, where an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, we may make a deduction for any reduction in value where permitted by law. Legislation.gov.uk
Because furniture is large and expensive to transport, collection charges may apply where the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
The applicable collection charge will depend on the size of the item and collection location and will be advised before collection is arranged.
Refunds
Where a customer has validly cancelled an eligible distance order, refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Legislation.gov.uk
Where goods are being returned, we may wait until the goods have been returned, or until evidence of return has been provided where applicable, before issuing the refund. Legislation.gov.uk
Where legally permitted, deductions may be made for loss in value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop. Legislation.gov.uk
In-Store Purchases & Change of Mind
For furniture purchased in store, where the item is not faulty, Furniture Store NI may offer a:
- Credit note
- Exchange
A cash refund is not automatically offered simply because a customer has changed their mind about an in-store purchase.
This does not affect statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Sale & Clearance Items
Sale, clearance and ex-display furniture is sold at the reduced price shown.
For in-store purchases, change-of-mind returns on sale or clearance goods may be limited to an exchange or credit note at our discretion.
However, a reduced or sale price does not remove statutory rights where the goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
That is why I would remove the old blanket statement saying “there is no refund on sale items”. It is too broad and could be misleading.
Faulty Furniture
If furniture develops a fault, please contact Furniture Store NI as soon as possible.
Email:
Please provide:
- Your order or invoice number
- Description of the fault
- Clear photographs
- Video where useful
We may ask for additional photographs or information so that we can determine the nature of the problem.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Replacement parts
- Price reduction
- Refund
Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by any manufacturer's warranty.
Mattresses, Beds & Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Certain products may have restrictions on change-of-mind returns for hygiene reasons.
Where a product is supplied sealed and is not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, cancellation rights can be lost once the seal is removed after delivery. Legislation.gov.uk
For this reason, if you are unsure about a mattress or other hygiene-sensitive product, please keep it sealed in its original packaging until you are satisfied that you wish to keep it.
Faulty products remain covered by your statutory rights.
Made-to-Order & Bespoke Furniture
Furniture that has been made specifically to your requirements or clearly personalised may not qualify for the normal 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Legislation.gov.uk
This may include certain:
- Bespoke sizes
- Special fabrics
- Special colours
- Custom configurations
- Furniture manufactured specifically for your order
This does not affect your rights if the furniture is faulty or has been supplied incorrectly.
Electrical Furniture & Components
Some furniture may include electrical components such as:
- Recliner motors
- USB charging points
- Lighting
- Control units
- Power supplies
Any manufacturer's warranty offered on these components is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
I would remove your old blanket statement that all electrical items have only a 3-month warranty unless that is genuinely the manufacturer's separate warranty and you clearly describe it as such.
Failed Deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed because:
- Nobody is available to receive the goods
- Incorrect delivery information has been provided
- Access restrictions were not disclosed
- The furniture cannot safely pass through the available access
an additional delivery or redelivery charge may apply.
Damage to Property
Our delivery teams will take reasonable care when delivering furniture.
Customers must ensure that delivery routes are clear and that vulnerable or breakable items are removed before delivery.
Furniture Store NI will not be responsible for damage resulting from unsafe or obstructed access where reasonable care has been taken by our delivery team.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
